Judy is a native of New England, born in New Hampshire and grew up in Mystic, Connecticut. Entered nursing later in life, 1993 practicing in Developmental Disabilities in Lyme, NH and later at New Hampshire Hospital. While at NH Hospital became board certified as a clinical nurse specialist, initially working with adults with Schizophrenia on a long-term unit and later in the children's Anna Philbrook Center. Judy has been a professor of Nursing at NHTI and an Associate Professor at Rivier College. She continues to mentor new Nurse Practitioner students
She received her RN training at Lake Sumter College in Florida. Went on to earn a BS in Clinical Psychology at Plymouth State University. She earned a Masters in Nursing Education from Rivier College in Nashua, NH and a Post Graduate Degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 2004. She continues to be ANCC Board Certified in her field. For the past year and a half, she has served as the Medical Director of Community Bridges Start Program and recently joined WestBridge as a remote provider.
Judy is a classically trained pianist. She and her husband of 45 years have raised 6 children in a blended family and currently have 6 grandchildren. While currently residing in South Carolina, Judy travels to NH to be physically at both Community Bridges Start Program and WestBridge every 3-4 months. Her passion and commitment to her patients drives and motivates her to continue practice wherever she is needed.
