Dr. Phillips completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Devereux Foundation (APA-Accredited) in Malvern, Pennsylvania working with adolescents residing in a residential treatment facility with disruptive behavior disorders, developmental disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Phillips completed her post-doctoral training at the Child NeuroBehavioral Center for Health and Wellness in Augusta, Georgia, where she received an additional eighteen months of training in clinical and neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents for learning disorders, developmental disorders, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and emotional problems as well as further training in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral problems in children and adolescents.

After completing her training at the Child NeuroBehavioral Center for Health and Wellness, Dr. Phillips worked in private practice in Northeast Columbia for three and a half years working with children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, child behavioral problems, adjustment issues, and adolescent issues.
