Maura Castellanos, better known as Mo, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 4 years of experience specializing in depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, and substance use disorders. Mo treats patients age 14 and older utilizing Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy in her approach with clients. Mo has experience counseling adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, families and groups in both clinical and outpatient settings. In her clinical work, Mo has a passion for working with clients to assist them in coping with and healing from the effects of trauma and is committed to continuous training to increase her knowledge and skill base in this area. In her free time, Mo enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also loves reading, particularly psychological thrillers. Mo received her Doctorate of Psychology from Pepperdine University, where she also earned her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
