Dr. Hannah Reckart moved to Columbia, SC from Conway, SC after earning her undergraduate degree in psychology from Clemson University. She then completed her Masters and PhD in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina.
Dr. Reckart completed her internship in Richland School District Two in Columbia, SC and began her career serving students in Lexington School District One as a school-based psychologist. Historically, she has worked with children ages 5 to 18 years across both school and clinical settings.
Dr. Reckart is a licensed psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who specializes in psychological evaluation. She has extensive knowledge of the role of disabilities within the school setting, and she regularly aids families in navigating IEP and 504 services.
At Lake Psychological Services, Dr. Reckart focuses on psychological evaluation for children and adolescents. She typically identifies conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning disorders, autism, etc. She is skilled in assessment of behavioral and academic difficulties and believes that all children should receive an education on an equal playing field.
Dr. Reckart is married to Chris Reckart. They reside in West Columbia and have two young sons and two dogs.
